Our Original Building
Here is the original Marcus Daly apple warehouse and our store. Many cars were loaded off of this dock!
The Old Pellet Mill
We are taking out the old pellet mill and putting in the new digital pellet mill this week. We are excited to make this upgrade!
Old Warehouse Interior
We are starting to build a new store and have cleaned out the space. A beautiful reason that a new warehouse might be a good idea!
The tin and wood from the old building was recycled. Some of the wood was used as the fascia and trim in our new store. We also have a wonderful store counter, conference room table with benches and other furniture so we will always remember where we came from.
Bitter Root Valley~ Montana Apples
We found some pictures in the walls from when we were an apple warehouse in the early to mid 1900's.
August 6, 2006
Taking the old warehouse down board by board. We had customers still driving to the front door to buy feed at this stage!
Crane and Foundation
It was incredible to see how fast these guys work and how much concrete goes into the base of our new store and warehouse.
Lakeland Feed & Supply New Front
Here is the new storefront with the recycled wood from our historical old building. Notice the red wood and the large beams?
November 6, 2006
Inside the new store with the chick room and some offices framed in. We're getting closer.
The start of another warehouse. We will finally have enough room! Famous last words...
It's interesting how names happen here, one of the guys said, "It's out in the... dumaflatchey thing." Duma was born and we still call it that today.
Tent City During Construction
Our tent city. We worked out of these spaces while our construction was ongoing.
2008 Fair Parade
Our personal representation for the 2008 Ravalli County Fair Parade complete with a drive through just like our new store!
Replacing the Head House Roof
The new roof was built on the ground and raised completed 114 ft into the air. This picture shows the old head house roof as it is being taken off.
New Head House Roof Project
The old roof is free and now we will have the moment of truth. Will the new roof fit?
The New Head House Roof
There couldn't have been a more perfect fit when it was set. Gives a whole new meaning to, "Measure 25 times, cut once!"
We also replaced the smallest roof at the very peak of the mill during the roofing project. It was 124 ft high according to the crane measurement.
2009 Soroptimists Winter Golf
We do fun things here as well like sponsor mini golf holes for great causes!
One of the many projects in 2013. We built a little hay barn by the drive through to help make loading hay for customers more efficient.
