I have been using Lakeland’s Ground Barley/Flax mix (actually a Lakeland Feed ingredient) for several years on my horses.  It produces a very nice hair coat that is super shiny; in fact, my horses will bead water there is so much oil in their hair.  The Ground Barley/Flax mix also adds to the horse’s ability to dapple up.  It is also significantly less expensive to use than other flax products.  The horses love the stuff.  I have recommended it to anyone that asks why my horses are so good looking. Probably ought to try it on myself!

I shop at Lakeland Feed & Supply for their good prices and friendly service.  Initially I did not buy suet because they were way too expensive.  They were able to get the prices fair and comparable so I buy there.  If I had to load my own feed I would still buy, and that would not bother me.
